She is an econometrician permanently employed as a professor at the University of Łódź. She began gaining experience in evaluation in 2007 through her participation in a project entitled ‘The impact of EU structural funds on employment in Poland’. She specialises in the application of statistical and econometric methods in evaluating the impact of EU funds on the economies of countries and regions and in studying real convergence processes. She has led or participated in the implementation of dozens of evaluation projects. Her speciality is the use of statistical and econometric methods (e.g. Hermin models) in evaluation. Currently (2022), she is the head of the Department of Spatial Econometrics at the University of Łódź, where she also serves as vice-dean for science.

In 2023, she coordinated the work of the Advocacy Working Group at PTE. In addition, she supported the process of transferring the remote training course entitled ‘Take a course in evaluation’ from the platform to a more modern solution in the Moodle cloud. As part of the ‘Thursdays with Evaluation’ series, she conducted a webinar entitled ‘The use of statistical methods in project evaluation,’ a recording of which is available on the PTE YouTube channel. In addition, she contributed to the launch of the Polish Evaluation Review as part of the peer-reviewed journal ‘Ekonomia Międzynarodowa’ (International Economics).
