The Polish Evaluation Society (PES) is a non-governmental organisation established in 2000, whose aim is to build a culture of evaluation in Poland as a democratic and social process, and to integrate the community of people interested and involved in evaluation processes in Poland.
Our mission comprises:
- building and promoting the evaluation culture,
- organizing and integrating the evaluators’ community,
- enriching the knowledge of evaluation in order to assure the quality of evaluation research and activities.
The objectives of the Society, i.e. building the evaluation culture and promoting evaluation in Poland as a democratic and social process, are being achieved through:
- organizing studies, courses and trainings,
- carrying out evaluation research work,
- exchange of experience with other societies, institutions and organizations,
- organizing meetings, seminars and conferences,
- publications on evaluation,
- consulting and advisory services.
