VI Conference of the Spanish Evaluation Society

Spanish Evaluation Society is pleased to announce its Sixth Conference to be held next days 6, 7 and 8 May 2009, inBarcelona, at the headquarters of the School of Public Administration of Catalonia and the Centre for Legal Studies of the Generalitat. The Conference will be devoted to the

"Local policies, sectoral policies, institutionalization and methodology"

The conference will comprise three parallel sessions divided into many other subjects:

• Evaluation of local policies:
  • The evaluation of urban policies.
  • The evaluation of personal-based services.
  • The evaluation of economic development and employment policies.
• Evaluation of sectoral policies:
  • The evaluation of educational policies.
  • The evaluation of health policies.
  • The evaluation of international cooperation.
• Concepts and methodology of evaluation:
  • The institutionalization of evaluation in Spain.
  • Methodologies for evaluating public policy.
  • The evaluation of policies and indirect management of public services.

Spanish Evaluation Society encourages all interested in participating to send their proposals for abstracts before February 20 2009 to the Scientific Committee could study them carefully for acceptance.Please, send us your abstracts via email to secretaria@sociedadevaluacion.org
